Intersectii / Intersections Journal is an international Open Access Journal, Peer-Reviewed, trimestrial, Interdisciplinary in Civil Engineering and Architecture published exclusively on-line.

The journal was founded in 1999. 

Between 1999 and 2002 the journal was disseminated in electronic format on CDs. Articles were in Romanian language and abstracts were in English (Vol.1, Vol.2, Vol.3, Vol.4). 
In 2003 the journal was edited in English (articles and abstracts, Vol.5). 

Starting with 2004 the journal is entirely on Internet (New Series: vol1., vol.2, vol.3, vol.4., and vol.5). 

Since 2016 OJS system was implemented and was decided  publication of 2 issues per year of the journal.

An  Editorial Board is managing journal's policy. The board includes scientific and professional personalities from different countries and institutions. 
The journal has professional and scientific support from universities, institutions, associations, and companies from Romania and other countries

The journal is published by the "Matei Teiu Botez" Publishing House IASI, Romania and Faculty of Civil Engineering and Building Services Iasi, "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of IASI, Romania that serves as a focal point for academicians, professionals, graduate and undergraduate students, fellows, and associates pursuing research throughout the world.
